Babel's Unhappy Again
Once again Ryan Babel's future at Liverpool could be in doubt with his again saying that he is unhappy with his substitutes role at Anfield. The defensive side of the Dutchman's game is something that Rafa Benitez has often asked him to work on, and he feels he has, but this still isn't giving him enough of a chance and he's not happy about this, as he explained to Sportweek:
'With this supporting role, I am not happy.
'I have had three good talks with the trainer this season in which he indicated that I could not lose sight of the defensive aspect.
'It is my feeling that I have strongly improved, but I still get no real chance.'
This isn't the first time that the 22-year-old has spoken about his disappointment at not featuring more regularly for the Reds and his desire to move on is, I believe, now getting stronger and this could happen this summer?
Babel has shown glimpses of what he's capable of but it doesn't look as though he's going to make the breakthrough that he's looking to any time soon. Maybe if he was given more of a chance to prove that he has taken onboard what Rafa has asked of him he would, but I just cant see where he's going to fit into Rafa's side on a regular enough basis to keep him happy?
In other Reds news Kaka has said that he would be very happy to see Stevie Gerrard play alongside him at AC Milan.
There probably isn't a team on earth that wouldn't want to sign Stevie, but the chances of him leaving Anfield anytime soon (if ever) are unlikely, even more so given the fact that he has just recently committed to a new contract.
