Liverpool: LFC TV Goes On

LFC TV Goes On

The news that Setanta Sports has gone off the air meant that many felt that LFC TV would also go as well, as this was broadcast through Setanta. This isn't the case however and despite some expected problem to be experienced by some the LFC TV broadcasts will continue, as a statement on Liverpoolfc.tv explained:

'LFC TV is currently broadcasting as normal and will continue to do so until further notice. However, following the announcement that Setanta GB is no longer trading, there may be some disruption to our service for UK television viewers.

'We're continuing to monitor developments but wish to point out that our online and international viewers should remain unaffected and that Liverpool Football Club remains committed to the future of LFC TV.'

"For those of you watching in black and white, Liverpool are the team with the ball"

I heard that they had stopped trading at 6pm last night but I was watching until about 9.30pm and the channel was still broadcasting. This morning had the days schedule displayed with it's usual 10am start time.

Fingers crossed that all parties manage to work something out or it's going to be a boring summer until August.

I am with Virgin Media and got Setanta for free, so I'm really disappointed.

I'll be gutted if LFC TV goes too as I love watching the daily news nound-up and well as the phone in on a Monday night.

I cancelled my Setanta channel yesterday. I saw the article on Monday that ESPN outbid Setanta for coverage of the EPL games here in the US, but that was before the administration article came out, so I decided to cancel my channel subscription. Here in the US, I never saw the LFC TV shows on Setanta anyway and by getting rid of the channel, its going to save me $15 a month on my cable bill.

Here to hoping that ESPN gets better commentators for the upcoming season.
